Judges at the European Business Awards select Lietuvos draudimas.

 

Experts from the leading companies in 27 European Union countries have nominated ‘Lietuvos draudimas’ (LD), R&SA business in Lithuania, as the finalist for Business Innovation of the Year Award. LD is the only company from Lithuania to be a finalist at this year’s European Business Awards.

 

“The fact that we are selected among 10 most innovative European companies is a great recognition and proof that the change programme we had experienced during the last two years put us on the right track. Of course, we would like to win the main award to become the most innovative company in Europe,” told Kęstutis Šerpytis, the Chairman of the Board and CEO.

 

Business Innovation of the Year Award is awarded to the organisation which can best demonstrate a proven ability to create, grow and develop innovations or processes that substantially improve the commercial performance or prospects of the company.

 

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony and European Business seminar on 11th March 2008.
